Slide Tailor API Documentation

The /tailor endpoint

All Slide Tailor operations are available through a single REST endpoint. By POSTing a TailoringInstructions object to https://api.slide-tailor.com/tailor, you can make any number of customizations to a PowerPoint template.

Customization Operations

• Change Text - Search for text throughout the presentation--in slides, masters, charts, notes, etc--and replace it. Example
• Insert Image - Replace an existing image or any other shape with a new image. Example
• Set Chart Data - Replace the data in a chart. Example
• Set Table Data - Replace the contents of a table. Example
• Show/hide shapes
  • Delete Shape - Remove a shape from the presentation completely
  • Hide Shape - Make a shape invisible without removing it
  • Show Shape - Make a previously hidden shape visible
• Show/hide slides
  • Delete Slide - Remove a slide from the presentation
  • Hide Slide - Hide a slide without deleting it
  • Show Slide - Make a hidden slide visible again
