Slide Tailor is a web API for making edits to a PowerPoint presentation such as changing text or data, swapping images, or showing or hiding slides.
Slide Tailor saves you time and errors customizing slide decks for your customers. If you regularly spend hours adapting sales pitch templates or pasting data into quarterly business review decks, automation gives you more hours in the day and the peace of mind that you'll never miss an edit.
Slide Tailor can turn a chore into a differentiator. When every extra graph and placeholder multiplies your manual work, you keep your deck generic. Once you've automated with Slide Tailor, you've inverted the economics: filling in five more charts became free, so you started generating decks filled with tables and charts that speak uniquely to your customer and pruning them down to the most useful message.
Slide Tailor is a web API you can use from whatever tool, programming language or automation platform you prefer. You POST a JSON message that identifies a PowerPoint .pptx file and a list of modifications to make to it. You'll receive back a deck with those changes applied, either as a .pptx you can edit further, or as a read-only PDF ready to forward to your customer.
You can start using it for free by registering at slide-tailor.com. You'll get an API key that gives you access to all the features of the API. The free version will insert a Slide Tailor logo on the output slides. If you upgrade to a paid subscription, you won't see such a logo. See Pricing for more details.
Yes, Slide Tailor will work with any .pptx file, created by any app that writes in the Open Office XML format.
Not directly, but you can use it on a .pptx file exported from Google Slides.
